Lagos Wine Tasting Experience

With over 300 days of sunshine a year, the Algarve is perfect for the Vines and for the tourist as well. Never too hot, never to cold, perfect conditions.

With a long heritage as a winemaking region, you’ll find during your time in the Algarve that the major towns that lend their names to the region’s four wine DOCs are: Lagos, Portimão, Lagoa and Tavira.

The experience begins with a cultural tour of the city and after that, a little stop for the a glass of wine in an historical café.

After the break, it’s time to head to a family farm, there the owner will show the journey of the wine, the history of wine making in the region, the grape varieties that are typical of the region and the estate’s vision for wine.

Once that’s finished, we will seat at the table. Time for a home made meal alongside a great view of the vines and of course the wine tasting.
