A great range of Ferragudo boat trips are available from the harbour of this pretty fishing village which is one of the most photographed locations in the Algarve.
With both Benagil and Algar Seco caves within easy reach this is a great place to take a grotto trip from, or if you’re feeling more adventures and energetic you can also choose from a range of trips which include kayaking and snorkelling.
To complete the range of Ferragudo boat tours you can also enjoy some great wildlife watching trips where you can expect to see dolphins and if you’re lucky a range of whales which even includes orcas.
Its worth noting that Ferragudo harbour is opposite Portimão’s Zona Ribeirinha (riverside zone) which is the largest area for boat trips in Portimão. You can reach the Zona Ribeirinha by taxi which takes about 5 minutes, or alternatively a water taxi straight across the river is even quicker and more fun! The water taxi can also take you to Portimão marina.
Additionally Alvor is also nearby (about 15 minutes by car) so you’ll never be short of choices for boat trips.
In Ferragudo you’ll find a good range of bars and restaurants so you won’t be short of ways to spend the afternoon or evening after your trip, and as mentioned above Portimão and also Carvoeiro are nearby and offer an even wider choice.
